The Lawrence Police Dept. announced today it will be hosting Coffee with the Chief in recognition of National Coffee with a Cop Day.
Lawrence Police Chief David Hofmann and members of the LPD command staff will be available for two hours, 9 to 11 a.m., to share a cup of coffee and conversation with citizens at the Sherwood Café, 5645 N. Post Rd. in Lawrence on Oct. 7.
“These events are a great opportunity to chat with Chief Hofmann and the Lawrence Police Department leadership in a comfortable setting,” a press release from LPD stated.
