Between 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Aug. 15, the Zionsville Fire Dept. responded to 12 calls for service related to a severe weather system that included a tornado that touched down in town. Calls included two commercial fire alarms, four reports of downed power lines, four utility pole or tree fires and two reports of structural damage. No one was injured as a result of the storm.
