The Westfield Police Dept. recently posted on its Facebook page directing citizens of Westfield to read up on the state and city ordinances regarding fireworks.

The use of fireworks within the city is prohibited at all times except for:

In addition to the city ordinance, the Indiana Code (IC 22-11-14-6) states fireworks must remain on the user’s property or that of someone who has given permission. Users must be 18 or older, or using the fireworks under adult supervision.
