City of Carmel announces plans for $217 million in infrastructure projects

The City Council is expected to review 13 ordinances and resolutions at its first meeting of 2016 that would invest $217 million over three years to build roundabouts, reconstruct roads, make drainage improvements and more. The city is planning to issue bonds to fund the projects, which will lead to a “small increase in property taxes for most Carmel residents,” according to a press release.
