Obituary: Ruth A. Boram

Ruth A. Boram, 95, Noblesville, died Oct. 30 at home. She was born March 11, 1920 to Emery and Helen (Shaw) Garris in Hamilton County. Ruth retired from American National Bank in Noblesville and had also worked at Fort Harrison. She was a member of First Christian Church in Noblesville and had played the organ at Clarksville Christian Church.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Tina) Boram, Larry (Suzanne) Boram and Judy Boram; sister, Virginia Kemerly; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Boram; grandson, Bret Boram; two sisters, Alice Alleyne and Gleela Baldwin; and brother, Robert Garris.

Services were held 10 a.m. Nov. 2, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St. in Noblesville, with Pastor Sandra Alleyne officiating. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. the same day. Burial was at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
