Mayor John Ditslear and five members of the Noblesville Common Council took the Ice Bucket Challenge on Aug. 22 to help raise awareness of ALS. Council members Brian Ayer, Mark Boice, Roy Johnson, Greg O’Connor, and Rick Taylor took the Ice Bucket Challenge in the morning. Ditslear, who was speaking at the Jake Laird Memorial Golf Outing at that time and was not able to join the councilors, took the challenge in the afternoon. As part of the fundraiser, Ditslear challenged Bob DuBois (president of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce), Chris Owens (executive director of Noblesville Main Street), and Phi Gamma Delta at IU-Bloomington, and the common council members challenged the Noblesville Engineering Dept.
