Phyllis G. Monson, 85 of Carmel, IN formerly of Big Lake, MN, passed away Aug. 17. Phyllis was born Feb. 16, 1929 to Gilmer and Pearl Undahl. Following her Marriage to Mr. Gene Monson, she lived in several different areas of the country following Gene’s career. Phyllis and Gene were blessed with two children, Mark Monson and Michele Malcy; grandchildren, Melissa, Christopher, Nicole, Jacob, and Kayla. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, DeVerne R. Undahl. A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Phyllis at 3 p.m. on Aug. 30 in Manor Care at Summer Trace, Carmel, IN.
