Noblesville Chamber supports referendum

The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce board of directors voted in their March board meeting for approval of the passage of the referendum which will result in the location of an Ivy Tech campus in Noblesville. The board voted unanimous approval, with the exception of board member Dr. Libbie Conner, who abstained from the vote.

The passage of the referendum on May 7 will enlarge Noblesville High School to welcome the freshman back to that campus and  will relocate East Middle School programs to the current freshman campus, resulting in the opportunity for the sale of the East Middle School to Hamilton County allowing Ivy Tech to lease that space.

The Noblesville Chamber, founded in 1935, is an advocate for the business community and works closely with the Noblesville Schools administration in support of increasing skill levels for students to find productive employment in the Noblesville area.
