The Indianapolis Hiking Club has announced its schedule of hikes for April and May 2012. There are hikes for a variety of interests and fitness levels in a wide range of locations, including city, suburban, parks and wood venues.

- Apr 3, 10, 17,20 and 24: Wildflower hikes in a number of locations, including Indiana State Parks and Indianapolis City Parks
- Apr 5: Depauw University and Depauw Nature Park in Greencastle
- Apr 6 and 27: Brown County Hikes
- Apr 6: Visit Zionsville Churches on Good Friday
- Apr 7: Richmond, IN Greenway hike
- Apr 8: Easter Sunday hike to Butler University and Indianapolis Art Museum
- Apr 14: Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge
- Apr 14: Moscow Covered Bridge hike
- Apr 17: Butler to IMA hike with Indianapolis First Lady, Winnie Ballard
- Apr 28: Mutt Strut Hike
- May 5: Zionsville Anti-Mini
- May 12: GriffeyLake at Bloomington Hike
- May 13 and 16: Slower paced hikes inIrvington area
- May 17: Three Lakes Trail at Morgan-Monroe State Forest
