As a third-generation artist, Chris “Stoffer” Moore was first recognized for his creative talents in kindergarten. In junior high school, he started collecting tattoo magazines and watching tattoo reality shows. He has now been working as a professional tattoo artist for a decade and has been at Carmel Tattoo for nearly three years.
Stoffer attended the Art Institute of Indianapolis, concentrating on graphic design and now has an extensive tattoo portfolio. He describes his style as a unique blend of neotraditional and realism, and he specializes in cover-up work on a range of surgery scars to previous tattoos. Stoffer is the middle child of five and a father to a 17-year-old daughter.
