On March 27, a group of Westfield citizens, Liberian national U.S. citizens, Chicago-area Liberian volunteers, Christian Leadership Training International ministry partners and board members and Westfield Mayor Andy Cook met at Westfield High School to load used school furniture into a 40-foot sea container bound for Africa. Westfield Washington Schools donated surplus furniture that was replaced during a recent renovation. The furniture will be used in the new Riverview Christian Academy that is under construction in Gompa, Liberia, West Africa. (Submitted photos)
