Meadowlark Park in Carmel is set to close April 1 for improvements that include a new playground, four pickleball courts, a full basketball court, a boardwalk through restored wetlands, a new fishing pier, year-round restroom facility, parking lot expansion and more.
The park at 450 Meadow Ln. in central Carmel is expected to reopen in December.
The project budget is $3.5 million and is being funded through the Clay Township Impact Program. The township is funding upgrades to six parks through the program.
