A look at some of the camps being offered for children this summer:
FISHERS PARKS
Fishers Parks opened registration for its summer camps earlier this month. Camps are available for children ages 4 to 14 and follow various themes such as “Year in a Week,” “Let’s Get Messy,” “Amazing Animals” and more. There also is an Indy Eleven soccer camp for ages 8 to 14.
In an effort to prevent spread of COVID-19, all camp counselors and campers will be screened daily and also have their temperature taken. All camp counselors are required to wear a mask for the duration of the camp day, and all campers are required to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
All camp counselors must pass a criminal background check and are required to complete more than 40 hours of training. Head counselors must undergo an additional vehicular background check. Additional camp safety procedures include on-site medical forms and photo identification for child sign-out.

CONNER PRAIRIE
Conner Prairie will offer a summer adventure camp for ages 5 to 15 weekly from June 1 to Aug. 6. Registration is open for the camp. The camp includes activities like canoeing, archery, fishing, horseback riding, swimming and more. Camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are $280 or $235 for members. In addition to the camps, there will be crafts, games and obstacle courses with rotating weekly themes. The themes are “Explore the Outdoors” from June 1-4 and July 5-9; “Be A Hero” from June 7-11 and July 12-16; “Makesmith” from June 14-18 and July 19-23; “Uncover the Past” from June 21-25 and July 26-30 and “Survive the Wild” from June 28-July 2 and Aug. 2-6. INDY STEM CAMPS
Indy Stem Camps will offer camps at University High School in Carmel, Zionsville Community High School in Zionsville, Riverside Intermediate School in Fishers, Guerin Catholic High School in Noblesville and Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Camp offerings are World of Minecraft camps, Minecraft Engineering camps, Minecraft PVP Games camps, Minecraft Explorers camps, Minecraft MegaBuild camps, Minecraft Build Battles camp and Minecraft Coding and 3D Printing camps.
