Buff City Soap announces Feb. 11 opening in Carmel

Buff City Soap is bringing its handcrafted bath and body products to Carmel.

The retailer will open its second Indiana store Feb. 11 at 12955 Old Meridian St. next to Bru Burger Bar. A second franchise is expected to open on Michigan Road in Carmel this summer. Jeffersonville is home to the state’s first Buff City Soap location.

Each location features a Soap Makery with more than 30 customizable scents that can be used in products that include plant-based soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap and laundry soap. Products are made daily in-store.

“Our customers love being able to select specific scents they want to include in any of our products,” franchise owner Rick Kueber stated in a press release. “Providing this level of customization is rare, and they always return to our Makery raving about how our incredible our soaps smell and feel.”

Store hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. A grand-opening event for the Carmel store is planned for spring.
