The Walmart on 151st Street in Westfield is closed until 7 a.m. Dec. 13 to take time to “clean and sanitize the building,” according to a message it posted on Facebook. The closure began at 2 p.m. Dec. 11.
“In light of the current circumstances and out of an abundance of caution, we’re taking additional steps to protect the health and safety of our customers and associates as we continue serving the community,” the post states.
The pharmacy will offer mail delivery drive-up service in the parking lot. Pickup for groceries ordered online will also remain available.
