ISDH reports additional 506 COVID-19 cases

The Indiana Dept. of Health today announced 506 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 82,336 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

A total of 2,968 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 14 since yesterday. Another 212 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

As of today, nearly 35 percent of ICU beds and more than 81 percent of ventilators are available across the state.

To date, 934,033 tests for unique individuals have been reported to the ISDH, up from 928,614 on Tuesday.
