The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 860 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 62,372 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.
A total of 2,706 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of eight since yesterday. Another 197 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 701,311 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 690,274 on Saturday.
