The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 432 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 39,543 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.
As of today, nearly 39 percent of ICU beds and more than 83 percent of ventilators are available.
A total of 2,231 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 17 since yesterday. Another 182 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 340,637 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 335,180 on Friday.
