ISDH reports 373 new cases of COVID-19

The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 373 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 32,078 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus following corrections to yesterday’s total.

As of today, nearly 41 percent of ICU beds and more than 82 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 1,850 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 18 since yesterday. Another 154 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record, following a correction to yesterday’s total. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 230,749 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 226,251 on Monday.
