ISDH reports 529 new COVID-19 cases

The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 529 additional Indiana residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

A total of 10,641 Indiana residents are known to have the virus following corrections to yesterday’s  total.

At least 545 Hoosiers have died to date from the disease – 26 were new deaths reported today. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the department and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 56,873 tests have been reported to the department, up from 54,785 on Friday.
