Riverview Health recently was awarded accreditation from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program.

HFAP is an independent accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The accreditation confirms that Riverview Health is providing high-quality care determined by an independent and external process of evaluation.

“We’re proud of this accreditation as it reflects our commitment to putting patients first,” stated Seth Warren, president and CEO of Riverview Health. “And putting patients first to us means not only creating a personalized healthcare experience for each patient but also ensuring it’s the highest quality.”

Meg Gravesmill, the CEO of the Accreditation Association of Hospitals/Health Systems, HFAP’s nonprofit parent company, said the accreditation is based on an onsite review.

“Riverview Health clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality and patient safety,” Gravesmill stated. “We base our decision on the findings of an extensive and thorough onsite review of the hospital against recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement and environmental safety. Riverview Health has earned the distinction of HFAP accreditation through its performance in successfully meeting those standards.”
