Where’s Amy attended the Carmel Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Sinatra & Friends’ with Grammy-nominated recording artist Steve Lippia (Las Vegas) and CSO Musical Director Janna Hymes (Carmel) Jan. 11 at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel. Guests enjoyed a ‘50s-era cocktail-themed party before the show and then enjoyed the music of ‘Ol’ Blue Eyes’ with hit songs from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s and beyond. The concert was loads of fun and Lippia had the crowd mesmerized with his Sinatra pizzaz and charm. The best part was seeing and hearing the CSO shine with its big band flair and presence. If you missed ‘Sinatra & Friends,’ you must get your tickets for “Sweeney Todd” coming Feb. 21-22 to the Palladium. The CSO and the Actors Theatre of Indiana join forces to present the complete, semi-staged production of Stephen Sondheim’s groundbreaking musical. A must-see theatrical treat for two nights only. Where’s Amy can’t wait to see you there. For more, visit carmelsymphony.org.
