Letter: Not seeing a climate catastrophe

0

Editor,

“Act Now” was a letter to the editor (regarding climate change in the Jan. 14 edition of Current in Carmel) that I read with bemusement; it’s unfortunate that Mr. Henderson has immersed himself in an issue that essentially doesn’t exist. He references the fact that he’s a “boomer,” so I’m sure that he is ignoring that this tirade has been going on for the past 50 years with nothing ever remotely coming true.

Certainly we have to be responsible citizens, but utilizing valuable ink and typespace in your paper on this topic is unnecessarily foolish. One must only assume that as long as the rest of us don’t run out of money for his Climate Reality Project, he’d be a happy camper.

James J. Smith, Carmel
