Hoosier Artisan Boutique returns for 11th year

The Hoosier Artisan Boutique will return to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville, Nov. 30. The juried arts and crafts event is in its 11th year and features artists from across the state.

General admission is free. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event coordinator Megan Martin said a $5 VIP ticket option is available for early entry at 10 a.m.

The event is on Small Business Saturday, and Martin said it’s crucial to support local businesses and artisans.

“So much more of what you spend gets put right back into our local economy,” Martin said. “It’s really insane the impact it can have. There’s something to be said for getting to meet and talk to the people who have made the items themselves. It’s things they are very passionate about, and a lot of time, energy and love goes into the production of their items.

“Everything they made has a story, and a lot of them are supporting families with the things they’re making and creating, so your purchase just makes an impact in so many ways.”

There will be approximately 90 booths selling, among other items, pottery, art, lamps and pet gifts.

“We have literally heard people say they find something for everyone on their list,” Martin said.
