This is the time of year when we visit pumpkin patches and go apple-picking at orchards. I kept hearing about DeBrand’s apples last year, but I was too late to the store. This year, that changed, and these milk chocolate, caramel apples with pecans and almonds were all they have been hyped up to be. In each bite, you hear the crisp sound then taste the tartness and how fresh, juicy and delicious they truly are. The DeBrand giant caramel apples are a top-seller for autumn and the best I’ve had.
Take my word for it, they are big enough to share with others and could be shared by 8 to 12 individuals. These Granny Smith apples are giant, and I would be surprised if you were able to eat it without slicing it into pieces. If you have never been to DeBrand, you want to make your way there this month. In addition to these decadent apples, the store offers a wide range of gourmet chocolates, specialty drinks and a space that is perfect for enjoying anything sweet.
