Originally from the suburbs of St. Louis, Allie Boughman enrolled at Missouri State and met a young man named John at college orientation. He quickly became her “favorite person in the world,” and they married shortly after graduation.
Allie was working as a high school English teacher until three years ago, when she and her husband moved to Fishers to plant a new branch of Parkside Church, which meets at Riverside Junior High School. John is an auditor at Deloitte.
Allie’s application for a part-time sales associate at Blue Peppermint Boutique turned into her position as both store manager and creative/digital director. She orchestrates the emails, social media activity, website design and outfit styling for the business. She also is the events coordinator for Parkside and enjoys participating in musical theater, reading fiction and thrillers, baking and photographing weddings and families.
