The new location for Village Dental at Saxony recently opened at 13390 Overview Dr. in Fishers. It is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
“About three years ago, we started to evolve a plan for how we can better serve our patients,” said Dr. David Bender, founder and dentist at Village Dental at Saxony. “We saw that there were a lot of patients that we were referring to specialists like an orthodontist, oral care dentist or a pediatric dentist.
“We knew that was inconvenient for patients, so our dream was to create a dental office that encompasses everything.”
Village Dental now has a pediatric dentist, an oral surgeon and an orthodontist who come in as well as with five other general dentists who work in the new building. Services include general dentistry, preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, pediatric dentistry, periodontal (gum) care, orthodontics, sleep apnea treatment and oral surgeries such as wisdom teeth extraction.
Village Dental also focuses on kid-friendly care. There is a game system in the reception area, cartoons above the dental chair, an internet station and Wi-fi, complimentary beverages, blankets and a treasure chest with prizes. It also offers sedation for patients who may need it.
“We’re working on making the patient’s experience the best experience that they can possibly have,” Bender said. “Every decision we made, even in the design of the building, we would look through the lens of how we could make a better experience for our patients.”
