Former state representative Steve Braun is once again running for Congress.
Braun, a Zionsville resident, filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission Aug. 23 and plans to make a formal announcement about his candidacy after Labor Day, according to campaign manager Andrew Greider.
Braun ran for Indiana’s 4th District in 2018, finishing second to Jim Baird in the Republican primary.
Braun served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 2012 to 2014 and was the commissioner of the Indiana Dept. of Workforce Development until 2017. He was not available for comment as of press time.
