Although I am an Indianapolis resident and do not have a dog in the fight for city council in Carmel, I felt compelled to say a few words about a former client and colleague, Tim Hannon.
With all of the financial squabbling going on at the city council level in Carmel, I think it is important to know that Tim is one of the brightest minds I have ever had the pleasure to work with, both as a client as well as one of the members of the St. Vincent Audit Committee some years ago. Certainly, his background as a doctor, a veteran and entrepreneur is impressive in and of itself, but his financial mind and his ability to understand and communicate issues relating to financial matters and internal controls is nothing short of amazing.
If the City of Carmel wants to shore up its financial oversight and improve the accountability, transparency and stewardship of its financial matters, Tim Hannon will make that happen.
