Trivia on the rise in Zionsville

Trivia is on the rise in Zionsville, with three establishments conducting trivia nights and Rush on Main working to re-establish one.

“It made it like a ‘Cheers’ environment here,” Rush on Main co-owner Jeff Sepiol said. “We miss that.”

Regular trivia nights are as follows:

Where: Lemon Bar, 95 East Pine St.

Frequency: Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m.

Types of trivia: TV shows, movies, “Harry Potter” series; all questions are created by staff

Special details: Themed food and drink each week

Tips: Reservations recommended by calling the restaurant; the restaurant is closed to additional customers

Prize: $50 Lemon Bar gift card for the winning team

Ages: Family friendly


Where: Greek’s Pizzeria, 30 N. Main St.

Frequency: First Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Types of trivia: General topics created by the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library

Special details: trivia takes place in a separate room, so the rest of the restaurant is open

Tips: limited to 30 people so reservations required through zionsvillelibrary.org

Prize: Winning team members receive a book from the library; the team with the most annual wins earn a special prize

Ages: 10 and up


Where: Books & Brews, Boone Village Shopping Center

Frequency: Every Monday at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Types of trivia: Once a month the topic is based upon a TV show or series, other nights trivia is general

Special details: Both games Monday evenings feature special categories of trivia

Tips: Can be crowded, arrive early

Prize: $20 voucher for Books & Brews to winning team of each game

Ages: Family friendly, although questions are geared for mature patrons

Returning soon: Rush on Main, 112 S. Main St.

Frequency: Weekly, most likely Mondays starting in late April

Types of trivia: Various topics; operated by an external company

Ages: The dining area is open to all patrons, but trivia primarily takes place in the adjacent bar
