The Boone County Home & Business Expo, sponsored by the Boone County Chamber of Commerce, is an annual event showcasing businesses and civic organizations in Boone County.
This year’s event will take be from 4 to 8 p.m. April 11 and 12 at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1300 100 S., Lebanon.
According to Boone County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Diane Schultz, a large variety of exhibitors will participate.
“This year’s event features over 70 exhibitors specializing in a wide variety of industries, from home improvement, lawn and garden, real estate, retail, health care, financial and insurance products and services, to name just a few,” Schultz said. “The long-standing event provides an informative and enjoyable experience, for both homeowners and those who rent, to explore home and business products and services in an engaging and fun family friendly environment.”
On the opening evening, visitors can explore volunteer opportunities in Boone County. The event will run in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Boone County’s Nonprofit Volunteer Fair and the Kiwanis Pancake Supper. As such, attendees will be able to connect with civic organizations and sign up to volunteer for a variety of causes within the county.
The second night is the expo’s Family Night, which will include free activities for kids, such as inflatables, Silly Safaris, princess performances and superhero characters. Attendees also will be able to purchase food from a variety of Boone County eateries.
Door prizes will be awarded by Boone County Chamber member businesses on both evenings.
