Longtime Noblesville-based bakery Pat A Cakes & Cookies Too, 5649 Pebble Village Ln., has announced plans to relocate its flagship store to Westfield.
The bakery, founded in 2006, left its location in Noblesville’s Pebble Brook Village shopping plaza Jan. 26.
Plans are to relocate the bakeryto the Westfield Crossing Shopping Center along Ind. 32, just west of Carey Rd. on or near Feb. 1. The business will be just minutes away from downtown Westfield and the Grand Park Sports Campus.
Owner Tricia Perkinson said she was not planning to relocate but found a better location with more space in Westfield.
“We are looking forward to being closer to Grand Park,” she said. “We are sure hoping it is a draw.”
Perkinson saand a longtime business partner opened the shop 13 years ago. Her partner has since retired..
Perkinson said handmade goods set her business apart from other bakeries.
“Here we truly make everything ourselves from scratch,” she said.
Pat A Cakes is known for its cinnamon rolls, but also offers cakes, cookies, cupcakes, cake balls and dozens of other assorted pastries.
“We are excited about the opportunity to expand in Westfield,” Perkinson said.
At the end of each day, Pat A Cakes donates all leftover goods to the Indianapolis branch of Little Sisters of the Poor.
