The Holiday Shop on Hanley Lane took place Dec. 2 at Pemberton of Zionsville, a new neighborhood near South 800 E. and Whitestown Road. Laura Heigl, a Zionsville realtor with Century 21 Scheetz, organized the event with custom home builder Executive Homes, one of Pemberton’s main developers. The shopping event spanned three levels of a custom-built home. Twelve local artisans and vendors sold giftable items such as jewelry, home decor, beauty products, clothing and more. The event also included a sock drive for Safe Families for Children Central Indiana, a charity that provides temporary living situations for children and support for families in need. Monetary donations also were accepted on behalf of Safe Families for Children Central Indiana to utilize in their Christmas shop.
