Snapshot: Pups win state title

The Carmel Pups football team won the 2018 Indiana Elementary Football Association state championship Nov. 3, defeating the Northwest Caps 20-8. The Pups faced an undefeated Caps team that had outscored opponents 375-44 during the season. Middle linebacker Holden Mumau received the Terry Prather MVP Award after leading a defense that gave up zero points during the playoffs. This is the third time the Pups have won the state title since 1979. (Submitted photo)
