Gus, an English bulldog who knew how to skateboard, went missing from his Carmel home on Oct. 4, 2017. Albrecht was arrested for the crime six months later.

More than a year after he went missing, Gus has not been found, and his whereabouts are unknown. His family has provided updates on the Facebook page Gus is Missing, which has nearly 3,300 likes. The page has not been updated since the guilty plea, and the family did not respond to a request for comment as of press time.
