Autopsies declared Frank Sergi and Kristal Sergi’s deaths as a murder-suicide.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office completed the autopsies and released the results Oct. 26 after both adults were found dead in their home Oct. 24.
The results of the autopsy confirmed Kristal Sergi’s death was a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. Frank Sergi’s death was a suicide caused by one gunshot wound to the head.
Court records show the Sergis were going through a divorce, and their home on Dorster Street had been put up for sale. Officers discovered the bodies after a 911 shots-fired call.
The deaths continue to be an ongoing investigation. Fishers police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Lt. Todd Crowder at 317-595-3329.
