Fishers police officer injured in off-duty motorcycle crash

Off-duty Fishers police officer Binh Dennis and his wife Mary were injured following a motorcycle crash Oct. 6 on Ind. 135 in Brown County.

The crash occurred shortly before noon when, according to a press release from the Fishers Police Dept., the Dennis’ 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the roadway and hit a tree.

Mary was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Binh was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital with potential life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition, and his long-term prognosis is unknown. Mary has since been released from the hospital.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigating the crash. This story will be updated.
