The 2018 Zionsville Lions Club Fall Festival will again host one of its most popular attractions – the Pet Pavilion. The pavilion will be in the main pathway outside of Zionsville Little League Field One.

The pavilion will feature eight vendors this year, including Just Stitching Dog Clothes, Pet Suites boarding, Lions Leader Dogs and Midwest Search Dogs. It will also feature Pet Valu pet store and Zionsville Country Vet, which moved into a new veterinary clinic in the Anson area this year.

Another popular Pet Pavilion attraction – the Humane County for Boone County – will also return with plenty of pets available for adoption.

“We are very happy that HSBC will return this year with pets available for adoption along with everything else they bring to the area,” said Michael Heffner, Pet Pavilion coordinator.

Each year, Heffner tries to build on the previous year’s success.

“Along with our informative and fun vendors, we will continue to have pet-related demonstrations in our Demo Tent, adjacent to Pet Pavilion,” Heffner said. “We have Silly Safaris for two shows on Sunday and Leader Dog will do a demo on Saturday.”

Heffner said the Pet Pavilion is an important part of the annual Fall Festival.

“Because pets are an important part of our lives, they are an important part of Fall Festival,” he said. “People consider pets part of their families because they are. They may even be the most considerate, loving member of the family.”
