Julia Church Kozicki announces mayoral bid for Noblesville

Julia Church Kozicki announced today that she will be a candidate for Noblesville Mayor in the May 7, 2019, Republican Primary.

“I am convinced that now is time for proven leadership in Noblesville with a fresh vision for our future and a respect for our city’s history,” Kozicki said in a statement. “I believe in a proactive approach to growth and a collaboration among community leaders, organizations and citizens to identify and provide the resources necessary to support a thriving community.”

A native of Noblesville, Kozicki was elected to three terms (12 years) as a member of the Noblesville School Board of Trustees and has served in numerous leadership roles in the community including Noblesville Tri Kappa, the Hamilton County Leadership Academy and First United Methodist Church. She has also served as a three-time chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and as the Region 5 Director of the Indiana School Board Association. She represented Noblesville precincts 1-20 at the 2018 Indiana State Republican Convention.
