3 road projects to end before school starts

0

The City of Carmel will wrap up three construction projects before rush hour on Aug. 14, the first day of school for Carmel Clay Schools students.

The projects include:

  • 116th Street between Towne Road and Spring Mill Road – bridge rehabilitation project.
  • Range Line Road and 136th Street roundabout work.
  • Main Street and Gray Road roundabout

At Main and Gray, the contractor continues to work at a fever pitch to open the roundabout prior to school per the contract. While the lanes will be open and drivable, there will be some finishing work on the roundabout to continue after opening. This work is likely to require a short closure of the southbound leg, which has been tentatively scheduled for Aug. 15, weather permitting.
