Zionsville firefighter Matt Coyner and Zionsville Police officer Bob Musgrave were chosen, respectively, as American Legion Dept. of Indiana 6th District Firefighter of the Year and Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Indiana is comprised of 11 districts. Coyner and Musgrave were presented July 6 with Certificates of Appreciation at the Zionsville American Legion Post 79. They will be acknowledged and eligible for State Firefighter and Law Enforcement Officer of the Year at the July 12-15 State Convention.
