A man is recovering after being stuck in a collapsed hole on a construction site on Horbeck Street in The Village of WestClay.
Carmel Fire Dept. spokesman Tim Griffin said the man is believed to be a construction worker and that emergency responders were able to dig him out in less than an hour. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition with “possible lower leg injuries,” Griffin said.
The Westfield Fire Dept. assisted with the rescue.
