I attend Clay Middle School. In our social studies class we were asked to find an issue we wanted to change or reform. I realize that I have been blessed with an amazing education, and I am provided with many options and opportunities. I want every kid to have the same opportunities I have.
Unfortunately, many don’t. Many kids live in poverty and cannot afford to go to school. Some cannot go to school simply because they are girls. I want to change this.
It would greatly help my cause if more people knew what education is like outside of Carmel. If they knew that money is one of the things keeping kids from gaining their most powerful tool, education (it would help).
If you could help me spread the word it would be greatly appreciated.
