The nonprofit released the following statement March 3:

“Noblesville Main Street accepted the resignation of CEO Chris Owens this week and wishes him the best of luck in his new endeavors. Noblesville Main Street is excited about the opportunity and will announce a new executive director in the coming weeks. Check the Noblesville Main Street website for details and becoming involve in the organization www.noblesvillemainstreet.org.

Owens made the following statement on Facebook March 1:

“In every change there is opportunity. This is our community that we love. For almost the last four years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as the executive director and now CEO of Noblesville Main Street.

“My time in the role is ending in a couple of weeks to pursue a new opportunity to which God has led our family. Fortunately, we won’t be moving and will stay in the community we love. I’ll be starting a new role on March (19) as the communications director for White River Christian Church. It’s a bittersweet decision, but made in the best interest of our family. It has been a pleasure to serve this community and work with so many dynamic people.

“Thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but I will do my best in the coming weeks to personally thank all who have invested in Noblesville Main Street, who will continue to do great things! I hope you’ll join us in continuing to support their efforts through donations to the Annual Fund and volunteerism.”
