Carmel Rotary’s Bourbon Fest returns

After a sellout inaugural year, the Carmel Rotary Club is bringing back its Bourbon Fest at 7 p.m. March 10.

The event will again be at the Sofi B. Estate at 9399 Ditch Rd., Carmel. Free bourbon tastings, food from local restaurants, live music and an outdoor cigar tent are included in the $55 price. VIP tickets are $95 and allow guests to enter at 5:30 p.m. for an expert-guided tasting tour of bourbon and priority access to food.

“Last year’s event sold out and tickets are going quickly again this year,” Carmel Rotary President John Stanley said. “It is a great venue to enjoy great food, sample five different bourbons, enjoy a cigar and listen to live music, all for a great cause. All the proceeds will go directly to helping those in need around the world.”

A majority of proceeds will go to the Rotary Foundation, an international nonprofit focused on scholarships, humanitarian grants and the eradication of polio worldwide.

In 2012, polio cases reported in four nations: Pakistan, Afghanistan, Chad and Niger. The Rotary Foundation helps make sure thousands of children are immunized.

There will be valet parking. All attendees must be 21 or older.

Tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.com/e/bourbon-fest-2018-tickets-38780268828?aff=eac2.
