Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville Ladies Auxiliary holds 32nd annual fundraising auction

For the 32nd year, the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville’s Ladies Auxiliary will hold the Boys & Girls Club Auction at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Harbour Trees Golf Club, 333 Regents Park Lane in Noblesville. The theme is “A Night of New Beginnings.”

The ladies auxiliary’s prime mission is to support the BGCN. Last year, it provided a new playground and kitchen equipment for the new BGCN headquarters at 1700 Conner St. in Noblesville.

Ladies Auxiliary President Melissa Kelley said the group also brings meals to members and packs healthy snack bags for kids to take home on the weekends.

“The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe haven for our local youth and prides itself on helping kids through academic and social programs which helps build a foundation for their future success,” Kelley said. “The money raised through this event funds hot meals twice per week, a weekly snack program, camp scholarships and various other programs as well as providing funds for numerous needs to make the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville a productive and safe haven for the youth of our community.”

New this year, the auction will sell golden tickets. There are 150 selling for $100 each. If someone’s golden ticket is drawn, the winner gets first choice of a live auction item, some valued up to $6,000. The winner must be present to claim the item.

Last year, the Ladies Auxiliary raised $133,000 for BGCN.

During the event, a silent auction and live auction will be held as well as dinner and a cash bar.

Silent auction items are open for bidding and can be viewed at
