NYAP stuff your stocking

The holiday festivities in downtown Noblesville continue tomorrow, Dec. 1, with Noblesville Main Street’s First Friday event from 5 to 8 p.m.

Santa Claus, hot chocolate, Christmas carols will round out the evening, in addition to ice-skating at Federal Hill Commons.

Families also can give back to the community and help local children in need. For the second year in a row, downtown merchants will offer the chance to “Stuff-Your-Stocking” in support of the Noblesville Youth Assistance Program.

Stockings can be purchased in advance for $15. Starting at 5 p.m. Dec. 1, participating merchants around the square will have treats, toys and ornaments on hand for children to stuff into their stockings and take home. Families also are encouraged to buy an extra stocking to stuff and donate for a child in need.

Proceeds from the one-night event go to support Noblesville Youth Assistance, which provides access to programs and services that promote positive growth experiences and enhance home and community relationships for local at-risk kids, ages 3 to 17.

“Stuff-Your-Stocking” tickets can be purchased by visiting eventbrite.com/e/2017-noblesville-stuff-your-stocking-tickets-39399219125.

After registering, the pre-paid stockings and maps of participating businesses can be picked up at the law offices of Church Church Hittle and Antrim, 2 N. Ninth St., Noblesville.

Anyone who wants to donate a stocking for a family can then bring the stocking back to Church Church Hittle and Antrim for Noblesville Youth Assistance Program to distribute.
