The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library will launch its new website and logo with a daylong celebration Dec. 2.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., library guests can visit website viewing stations and make holiday crafts for all ages. They can also play cornhole and candy guessing games with opportunities to win prizes.
The day will also include the Secret Snowflake Shop from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., where children can purchase gifts for loved ones, and the library’s annual holiday concert at 2 p.m. See a full schedule of events at bit.ly/2zFwJL.
The event and new website are the culmination of a yearlong process that began with the completion of a three-year strategic plan finalized by the Library Board of Trustees. Priorities included providing high quality content and services for the community while maximizing awareness and use of existing services. The new website helps meet those goals.
Features of the new website include quick access to personal accounts, tutorials for online programs offered by the library and much more. It was designed by Hamilton County-based Iconic Digital.
