Robert Horsey, organ recovery coordinator with Indiana Donor Network, will sign his new novel, “Gifted,” at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Books & Brews, 61 West Clay Center Drive, in Carmel.
The Carmel resident drew on the lesson and experiences gained while working in the field of organ donation and transplantation over the past decade and a half to write “Gifted,” which introduces readers to a family surviving grief and sharing life.
Twenty-five percent of all proceeds from the book will go to the Indiana Donor Network Scholarship Fund to help family members of Indiana organ and tissue donors as well as living organ donors and transplant recipients.
