Where’s Amy attended the posh and elegant Songbook Celebration Gala Sept. 30 at The Palladium in Carmel’s Center for the Performing Arts. Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated Mitzi Gaynor attended and was inducted into the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame along with posthumous inductees Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Gilbert. Headliner Kristin Chenoweth gave a stellar performance along with Songbook Foundation founder and Center for the Performing Arts Artistic Director Michael Feinstein. Other highlights included past Songbook Ambassadors Annie Yokom (2010) and Julia Goodwin (2013) and a return by the 2017 Songbook Ambassador Finn Sagal. The Songbook Celebration Gala was a huge hit and guests ended the night with live music, dancing and a delicious dessert coffee bar.
